Richard E. Neal Municipal Operations Center
Phase I included the conversion of an existing U.S. Postal warehouse into the vehicle maintenance division of the Springfield DPW. This conversion created 18 maintenance bays, one wash bay, a welding shop, paint shop, tire center and an emergency operations & dispatch center. Site upgrades include a new fuel island, truck scale and salt storage structure.
Phase II included the design and construction of the DPW administration offices. These offices included director suites, an engineering department, billing department, plan vaults and conservation offices.
