North Hadley Welcomes a New Fire Sub-Station

North Hadley celebrated a fresh addition to the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony opening a new sub-station this past September, off of Route 47. The hopes and visions of this project were brought to life by the lead architects at Caolo & Bieniek Associates, Inc. implementing creative, collaborative, and constructive design.

Fire Marshall Peter J. Ostroskey, Fire Chief Michael Spanknebel, and other Hadley Fire Department members watched as Lt. Governor Karyn Polito and Select Board Member Joyce Chunglo cut the ribbon in front of the new facility. The implemented design provides significant upgrades to the sub-station’s utilities, accessibility, and landscape with a familiar and welcoming public appearance that folds into the fabric of the neighborhood.

Caolo & Bieniek Associates, Inc. were in attendance and fortunate enough to witness community members taking in the engaging and harmonious presence of the new North Hadley Fire Sub-Station.
