The CBA team was not only able to deliver on a stunning new addition to the Center but the project also came in on-time and under budget. The 2-story, 11,200 square foot addition opened the door for enhanced exercise options, a new media room, multi-sport gym room, beauty salon, relaxing café and much more.
The influx of space allows for more robust programing and in turn a better experience for staff and seniors. Marshfield is also one of the 200 senior centers nationally certified out of 11,000 across the U.S.
The expansion also includes outdoor spaces, an enlarged parking area, and new pickle ball courts. The flexible spaces impressed Jan Mutchler, Director of the Gerontology Institute at UMass Boston “its stunning how many things there are to do here to keep you healthy.”
Caolo & Bieniek Architects are determined to design spaces that work now and for the future, responding to the community and their needs has restored the Marshfield Senior Center as a resource rich asset for the town.
