Programming, design and construction administration services for the conversion of the former Agway Office Building into new Town Office facilities and Police Department Headquarters.
Chicopee City Hall & Annex
Masonry Repairs - project included repair of existing brick foundation, front entry stair and landing at the Front Street Elevation of the building.
Design and construction administration services for masonry restoration on the front of the building and interior improvements to repair and secure the decorative rose window at the front of City Hall.
Inspection, design and construction administration services for roof framing repairs. Damaged 100 year old heavy timber trusses were repaired with steel reinforcement.
Programming, design and construction administration services for modifications to the Main and Annex lobbies to provide two wheelchair lifts and a handicap ramp at Annex entrance to provide accessibility in compliance with ADA codes. Project was funded by a Community Development Block Grant.
Programming, design and construction administration for exterior masonry repairs to the entry plaza which included a new concrete surface and electric snow melting system.
Stockbridge Town Offices
This adaptive re-use project at the former Plain School preserves the exterior appearance of the existing 44,000 s.f. school building. A 1,500 s.f. Elevator Lobby was added at the rear of the building creating a new main entrance. Interior renovations included the replacement of all original mechanical and electrical infrastructures. The building now houses the Senior Center, Police Station, Town Offices including Committee Offices, Meeting Rooms & Records Storage, Gymnasium and rental community space & private offices.
Building and infrastructure assessment of the former Plain School to determine the necessary improvements needed for the re-use of the building, either as residential, commercial, or town offices. In-depth development of program options and cost estimates for each use. Additional services were provided concentrating on the town office conversion option.
